I am all for breast-feeding but Time Magazine's cover is a bit much! It is the wrong way to provoke discussion about the benefits of breast-feeding. First of all, the little tyke looks too big for a three-year old -- looks more like a five year old. Second, the poor kid is likely to be teased at school about it. Finally, the photo just looks weird! That is just my opinion! The issue of breast-feeding, especially, in developing countries is just too important to be trivialized in such fashion.
Turns out the breast-feeding Mum is all about attachment parenting. The cover was part of a story that included several other Mums; and the little tyke is in fact three years old.
Still Time Magazine should have done a better job of covering the story.
